Message	Yes.. BTDT I did a full bearing set on a '91 NA while the car was on jack stands.. You will be able to push the Rod up and see/remove the Upper Half.. then pull it back down when you are done.. Might look at replacing the set while you are at it.. I think you can get the 'Set Number' off the Shell.. I just put in a 'Autoparts Set'.. not the 'Nissan Sized' Set.. it was better then what was in it.. Not much you can do to the Oil Pump in the Car.. I'd replace the Oil Sender, or put an Aftermarket Gauge in the Car.. the Oil Gauge in the Car is Likely wrong.. they do that.. Cj
